The destination also offers entertainment at Wal's Funland including the 18-hole mini-golf course, driving range, springfree trampoline, Topiary Café and the miniature train rides which operate in the summer months.

The 100,000+ objects in Toitū Otago Settlers Museum's collection highlight the character, culture, technology, art, fashion and transport of the Otago province from before the time of European settlement to the present.

The Taieri Gorge Railway and The Seasider train trips offer unique and panoramic views over ever-changing scenery. There are opportunities for photos where the train either slows down or stops for you to disembark. There is a licensed café and bar on board and live commentary on all trips.

Home of road and track cycling in Dunedin, the world-class Seddon Park Velodrome is 250 metres of fast, smooth concrete.

This course is a par 72 spread over 5924 metres of North Taieri countryside making full use of the natural surroundings. The 3 lakes and tree-lined fairways make for wonderfully challenging natural hazards.

Twelve Oaks Golf Club is a flat but still challenging course that will suit all levels of players. 9 holes. Guests welcome.

A 9-hole golf course with rolling hills and a picturesque setting. Good membership for both men, woman and juniors. Club days are on Saturdays.
